Carrie Allen has owned and operated service and retail businesses since 1977. She began helping clients buy and sell businesses in 1999.

Having raised a family in Arizona, she combines an affinity for the Southwest with an incisive knowledge of the market. With a focus on business sales and appraisals, Carrie is a Certified Business Intermediary with the International Business Brokers Association. She is also a licensed real estate professional and business broker in Arizona, holding the Business Broker Specialist designation from the Arizona Department of Real Estate.

Her professional affiliations include the International Business Brokers Association; the Institute of Business Appraisers; Arizona Business Brokers Association (where she served as the Chair of the Southern Chapter and Treasurer of the State Organization); Saguaro Business Club; the Tucson Catalina Rotary Club (where she served as President); and the American Business Women's Association.

Carrie received the 2007 Business Broker of the Year Award from the Arizona Business Brokers Association, and was recognized for her accomplishments by former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano and Tucson Mayor Bob Walkup.

Larry is an Arizona native, and attended the University of Arizona with a concentration in finance and real estate.  Growing up in a family of small business owners, Larry understands the challenges and rewards of small business ownership.  He  has also served as VP of Operations for an international manufacturing business in the material handling sector. Larry has also gained experience in the beverage alcohol industry, retail and health and fitness fields.  As an Arizona licensed real estate agent since 1987, Larry has expertise in commericial real estate sales.  Larry takes seriously his fiduciary responsibilities to protect the interests of his clients.

Jeffrey D. Abbott

Jeff Abbott began his career in commercial banking in Chicago, and has since held leadership roles in marketing and operations at Whirlpool Corporation, The General Electric Company, and Brown-Forman Corporation. As an executive, Jeff’s cross-functional experiences have helped him develop strong business acumen and process orientation that helps him assist his clients in thinking through business challenges and opportunities across multiple industries.

As a marketing and operations consultant to numerous smaller business organizations, as well as President of a manufacturing company, Jeff has gained direct familiarity with the unique challenges faced by small business owners.

As Director of Operations at Allen and Young, Jeff will bring his process-orientation and bottom-line focus to ensure smooth transactions for both buyers and sellers.

Jeff graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the Thunderbird School of Global Management, in Glendale Arizona. He is Six Sigma certified and fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Jane has lived in the heart of Tucson since 1979. A University or Arizona graduate, Jane has her post-degree certification as a paralegal.  In addition to the legal field, Jane has worked in business management, contract administration, facilities planning and oeprations, research, marketing, event planning, and sales and has owned her own small business.  She has worked for small, locally owned businesses as well as publicly traded companies in industries such as environmental testing, law, health care, association management and publishing.

Noel Cousins

Noel Cousins has over 35 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry. He held senior positions with St. Joe American Corp. and Westinghouse subsidiary, Wyoming Mineral Corp. in the 1970's and 80's and has since worked as a consultant for many large and small mining companies. He has been directly involved in major mineral discoveries and instrumental in sales and purchases of numerous mining properties including the first successful heap leach gold operation in Alaska. Noel's strengths in the mining industry transfer to the sale or purchase of mining properties, mining engineering companies, mining equipment, and assay laboratories.
